Michael Sampson has thirty plus years as a firefighter, fire marshal/fire prevention officer in a local agency fire department in El Dorado County, CA. He co-authored the fire districts first WUI prevention plan in the early 1990’s. Michael has fought fire throughout CA, in NV and the Yellowstone fires of 1988. He currently works for FEMA as a Hazard Mitigation Specialist.
